This is completely out of the blue.Īnd I have tried seemingly every little trick in the book to fix this. No new drivers installed, no Windows update (that I remember/know of), no new wonky programs that might be interfering. And my computer runs the game fantastically at max graphic settings, 4K, 60fps with HDR. What's weird is that everything was working completely fine until a day or two ago, and the game just decided.nah, nevermind. Sometimes it freezes while the loading icon is visible, other times it gets to the launcher or at least the title screen (NOT the main menu itself, just the 'Doom Eternal' logo).
The intro logos flash by, I get the multi-language warning screen, and then the game just seemingly poops itself. All of the sudden, I just can NOT get through to the main menu anymore.
